How to Make Cucur/Kucur Cake

Ingredients :
1. Wheat flour 1/2 kg
2. Sugar 3/4 kg
3. 3 glasses of water
4. 1 tsp salt
5. Food coloring

Steps :
1. Pour the flour and sugar into a medium bowl.


2. Pour 1 tsp salt into a mediuim bowl.


3. Mix the wheat flour, sugar, and salt. Stir by hand untill well blended.


4. Pour water little by little while mixed.



5. Stir by your hands untill well blended becomes a dough.




6. Pour enough food coloring to make the cake loos beautiful.


7. Pour the dough into a frying pan over medium heat. The heat of stove oil and heavily influence the cucur cake, to be sure before the batter is poured cooking oil has been heated but not too hot. Oil that's too hot can cause fiber and taste a little cake flour.


8. Use medium heat, while frying the cake so that the fiber evenly and odorless powder. Because oil isn't too much, after half of the cake batter fibrous flush during frying so cooked evenly.





9. Remove and drain the cake when it's cooked.


10. Serve the cucur cake.

How Cucur/Kucur Cake is Made?

      Cucur cake is a kind of fried cake made of the wheat flour and sugar. This cake is simple food that is easy to find on the sidewalk in the traditional markets and pastry shops in almost all regions in Indonesia because this food is one of typical traditional Indonesian food. It's very good cake from Indonesian. Traditional, unique, and delicious. Come to Indonesia and try this food. So, how cucur cake is made? Here the steps.

      Firstly, wheat flour, sugar, and one teaspoon of salt are poured into a medium bowl. Then, flour, sugar, and salt are mixed and stirred by hand until they are evenly mixed. In order to become a dough, the water is poured little by little while mixed. Next, the food coloring is added to the dough to make the cake look beautiful. For food coloring can be chosen according to taste. Then, the dough is poured into a frying pan over medium heat. The heat of the stove oil greatly affects the baking cake, of course before the batter is poured the cooking oil has been heated but not too hot. And then, the dough is fried on medium heat, so that the fiber is evenly distributed and doesn't smell powder. Because the oil isn't too much, after half of the cake dough is watered fibrous when fried so that it's cooked evenly. After that, mature cake is removed from the frying pan and drained.
